Course Details

Units of competency
Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued by ABC Licence Training Pty LTD – RTO 3399

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID014 – Provide advanced First Aid

Course delivery
This course is offered as a face-to-face course. Up to 3 hours Pre-course learning is required.

Course duration
For the standard course – Face to Face minimum duration is 8 hours.

Pre-requisites
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.

Training requirements
Face to face training consists of theory presentations and range of practical learning activities and scenarios.

Assessment requirements
Assessment activities will include a knowledge test and practical assessments including first aid and advanced resuscitation techniques. Students will also complete scenarios in a simulated environment.

Course renewal requirements
The statement of attainment is valid for 3 years*.

*Please note that the CPR component of the training is valid for 12 months and should be updated annually.

Upon successful completion of the course once all assessment requirements are met and full payment has been received, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009, HLTAID011 and HLTAID014. We aim to issue your Statement of Attainment within 24 hours of verifying all completion requirements.
