Course delivery
This course is offered as a face-to-face course. Pre-course learning is required.
Course duration
For the express course, pre course learning duration time for this course is up to 2 Hours.
For the express course – Face to Face minimum duration is 1 Hour.
Pre-requisites
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.
Entry requirements
Learners undertaking the express course must have previously completed the UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel and HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Learners will be required to provide a copy of their expiring Statement of Attainment on the day of their face-to-face course.
Training requirements
Face to face training consists of theory presentations and range of practical learning activities and scenarios.
Assessment requirements
Assessment activities will include a knowledge test and practical assessments including use of CPR techniques, risk assessment and performing low voltage rescue procedures. Students will also complete scenarios in a simulated environment.
Course renewal requirements
The Statement of Attainment is valid for 12 months and should be updated annually.
Upon successful completion of the course once all assessment requirements are met and full payment has been received, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment for UETDRMP018 & HLTAID009.

Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from a live low voltage panel and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. The course is targeted at electricity supply industry (ESI) workers who undertake the installation and/or maintenance of network infrastructure which requires performing a rescue from a live low voltage panel and CPR to meet work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) mobility and mutual aid requirements. Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued by ABC Licence Training Pty LTD – RTO 3399.
